On arrival at Yerevan International Airport you will be met by our local representative and you will be transferred to the hotel.

Yerevan, Armenia's capital, is marked by grand Soviet-era architecture. The Matenadaran library, housing thousands of ancient Greek and Armenian manuscripts, dominates its main avenue. Republic Square is the city's core, with musical water fountains and colonnaded government buildings. The 1920s History Museum of Armenia on the square's eastern side contains archaeological objects like a circa-3500-B.C. leather shoe.

Today depart to Zvartnots, explore and witness the ruins of temple with the beautiful view of the Mount Ararat which is a UNESCO heritage. Zvartnots Cathedral is a 7th-century centrally planned aisled tetraconch type Armenian cathedral built by the order of Catholicos Nerses the Builder from 643-652. Now in ruins, it is located at the edge of the city of Vagharshapat in Armavir Province of Armenia. Then view the Mount Ararat is a snow-capped and dormant compound volcano in the extreme east of Turkey. It consists of two major volcanic cones: Greater Ararat and Little Ararat. Greater Ararat is the highest peak in Turkey and the Armenian plateau with an elevation of 5,137 m; while, Little Ararat's elevation is 3,896 m. Return to back to Yerevan and start city tour around vibrant capital of Yerevan: Republic Square, Opera House Cascade Monument, which is an open-air museum of modern art with hanging gardens and fountains. Atop the monument you will get to Victory Park with the Monument to Mother Armenia gorgeously towering over the city. Visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial built in memory to the victims of Genocide. You will also visit Yerevan Fruit and Food market complete with fresh vegetables.

Today your driver cum guide will pick you up and bring to the Megerayn Carpet Factory, they have expanded production of carpets in Armenia by recreating special carpets of Vaspurakan, Karabakh, Lori and other regions through contemporary design skills. The company has a large gallery, which organizes free visits to both locals and tourists. Here you can find different carpets, purchase them, see the production process, learn about dyeing with natural materials and processing technologies. Then again you will get the chance to capture the view of Mount Ararat. The tour will continue to Noravank monastery, great religious and cultural center of 13th c. It is situated in a narrow gorge, which is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. Proceed to Jermuk is a mountain spa town in the southern Armenian province of Vayots Dzor Province. Sunny days, healing waters, mild climate, ultraviolet rays, moderate humidity and other conditions contribute Jermuk to be considered first-class health resort zone and recreational area. Jermuk, is a mountain spa town and the centre of the urban community of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor Province at the south of Armenia, at a road distance of 53 km east of the provincial capital Yeghegnadzor. It was considered one of the popular destinations for medical tourism in the Soviet Union. After the tour the driver will drop you to the hotel in Jermuk.

Explore the beautiful waterfalls of Jermuk with a height of 70 meters. Then continue the tour to Karahounj (Armenian Stonehenge), the former Observatory dating from 4200 BC. It is situated at 1770 m above sea level and occupies 7 acres of land. The monument consists of 223 sheets of basalt, of which 84 have openings of 4-5 cm. In 2001, close to Karahunj many interesting astronomical images were discovered. Proceed to the Tatev Monastery, is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. The term "Tatev" usually refers to the monastery. The monastic ensemble stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River. Take aerial tramway “Wings of Tatev” to reach monastery which is an architectural masterpiece dating back to the 10th c., often called a monastery built on the edge of nothing. After the tour the driver will drive you back to the beautiful city of Yerevan.

Departs to Geghard Monastery, which is hewn out from the cave and included in the UNESCO World Heritage. Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. Then proceed to Garni Temple from 1st c., the only preserved pagan temple in the region. The Temple of Garni is the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia and the former Soviet Union. An Ionic temple located in the village of Garni, Armenia, it is the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. An optional activities can be arrange with an extra charge: Jeeping at Azat River gorge to the natural formation “Symphony of Stones” (UNESCO) & Lunch at local restaurant with Armenian flatbread “Lavash” baking presentation.

After breakfast. The day is free until checkout time. The driver will pick you up and drop you to the airport for your onward flight.​
